I AM A SURVIVOR VIGIL As part of sexual assault awareness month, Silent No Longer TN held a vigil for sexual assault survivors who wished to share their story, gather in solidarity and feel the empowerment community brings.
GOVERNOR'S OFFICE SIT IN After ignoring numerous requests for meetings, survivors, allies and advocates staged a sit in in front of the Governor's office April 16-17.
MARCHING FOR EQUALITY We were proud to stand with members of the LGBTQ community as we marched for equality for all, and spread awareness of the prevalence of sexual assault within the community.
BREAK THE SILENCE SUICIDE PREVENTION RALLY On July 11th, Silent No Longer TN, in partnership with Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network, held a suicide prevention rally. The date was chosen to coincide with the national Rally to Prevent Suicide in Washington D.C.
ACCOUNTABILITY MATTERS Sexual assault survivors, allies, advocates and community leaders joined together on July 24th on the steps of the state capitol to demand Rep. David Byrd be held accountable for molesting children.
HONORING SURVIVORS CANDLELIGHT VIGIL On August 21st, survivors of sexual and domestic violence, gun violence, misogyny, racism, xenophobia, homophobia and religious persecution came together to honor, remember and support all survivors of violence.
